Refund policy

We have a 10-day return/exchange policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange. 

We will accept an exchange or return if it is within 10 days of purchase. The product must be unused and in its original condition. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please inspect your order upon arrival & contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item.

To be eligible for a return/exchange, you need to email us and explain why you are unsatisfied with your product(s) so we can address the problem. We will get back to you in a timely manner, and address the issue.

To start a return or exchange, you can contact us at dana@stonehousecandles.com. Please note that returns or exchanges will be accepted after email or phone interaction. 

If your refund or exchange is accepted, we’ll send you an email confirmation, as well as instructions on how and when you will be getting either the refund or exchange item. Items sent back to us without email interactions will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item(s).

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on items that have been used in an inappropriate manner. We share our safety guidelines with a special candle care card to help instruct you on how to use the candles. We also cannot refund the purchase of gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to email us immediately, and if you allow us we will call you personally to make sure you get the proper exchange item in a timely manner. 

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received an email about your request , and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
